Inspired by Jesus' ultimate act of love, we have created the Calvary Crucifix Collection. The San Damiano crucifix is a replica of the large Romanesque rood cross before which St. Francis of Assisi was praying when he is said to have received the commission from the Lord to rebuild the Church. This crucifix has a hand painted sculptured corpus with brilliant gold-tone halo and comes with a keyhole on the back for hanging.
