Lemon Verbena (Aloysia Triphylla) is commonly known as the lemon plant.  This South American herb has been noted to soothingly relieve bacteria. This soap is made with essential oils and it is also paraben and sodium lauryl sulfate free. Gifts for the Journey is a non-profit ministry based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and employs women through the outreach of Franciscan Peacemakers. The proceeds of this product benefit women who have survived lives of abuse, prostitution, addictions and violence.
