5/8 x 9/16 inch polished and enameled finish sterling silver Miraculous Medal with enameled flower detailing on an 18-inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. In the center of the pendant is the figure of Mary, surrounded by the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." Bordering Mary on both the right and left sides are pink and green enameled flowers. The back of the medal features the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles.
